Well, after having my first child I lost ALL the baby weight within 6 weeks. I made it to 117 and got pregnant with baby #2 when baby #1 was only 5 mths old. After baby #2 I lost all the weight quickly again...and by the next fall I was 110 lbs...YAY!!! Now, I can't maintain that, but it sure was fun to get there every once in a while. So maintaining 113-116 is feasible and GREAT! Well, in November 06 I got VERY sick. I kept pushing myself and eventually was forced to sit on my behind for several months. I gained up to 122 lbs. Annoying, but okay. Well, somehow I have gained up to 131 pds...AHHHHH!!!! Now, I am getting serious. I want to be what my children call a "little mommy" again. In order to do this I have to follow some strict rules I use to follow all the time...
No fries
No pizza
No junk food what so ever
Until I actually lose back down there will be NO cheating...I will drink slimfast and water. I will have a small supper.
I will walk or run 4-6 miles atleast 3 times a week and workout the other days for atleast an hour.
I will sleep only 8 hrs a day
I will walk my children to school everyday(even in summer...just to play on the playground in the morning)
No alcohol!!!!
No sweets
90 sit ups everyday
30 pushups everyday
50 squats with weights in hand everyday
50 lunges with weights in hand everyday
I posted this, because some how it seems more like a plan and a course of action if I put it on writing. My goal is to lose ATLEAST 5 pds by the 18th. I would like to think 10 pds, since I did weigh myself at night after a big supper....and there is such a thing as water weight...and I have had a bizarre rash thing that could be effecting me somehow (I am hopeful anyway).
It takes discipline to lose and maintain weight. I just have to get myself disciplined again. I went from being wiped out and un able to function, lost all sense of a schedule or discipline and turned into this, despite running atleast twice a week. Maybe I am back to normal and will be able to do it this time. Maybe by my birthday I will atleast be under 120. I can hope. I can hope that by Christmas or so I will be 115 ish and maybe next summer I will be touching 110 again. It will take discipline.
Currently I am 31 yrs old 5'4 131 pds (YUCK) Nothing from 2 yrs ago fits me :-(
