Wednesday

I ran an entire hour straight...no breaks to walk no water no bathroom (that's quite a feat I carried a 9 lb 7 oz baby and my bladder just never returned to normal) anyway...I did 6.54 today :) which makes a total of 19.1 so far this week. I am tempted to go for 30 miles this week...but I don't want to make that goal. I want to keep my goal at 25 miles and any extra is just extra. I am afraid if I go for 30 than I will continue wanting to go for 30 every week...and I am just not sure that is an attainable goal.

If anyone actually reads this and reads my real blog you will know I had used a book to follow a certain plan to get "ripped" The problem with that book is that according to the website I should be 127 (which is 17 pds heavier than I like). So, in that book I wore myself ou doing these workouts, that I knew better than to do. They involved running on an incline of 15...which only builds muscles in your legs and behind....which is NOT the look I am going for. I like the long lean look, not the muscley stalky look that can happen when you're 5'4. I highly recommend the book and I will probably do it again after I lose weight. I will likely leave out the exercises that build muscles in the legs and thighs and behind. The book also opened my eyes more to what we ingest daily. Preservatives and chemicals that are in food just amaze me and we ACTUALLY ingest that and allow our children to ingest that junk!!! I had already had a rule of no hotdogs and cokes and chips...and only occasional cookies. Now I view all foods cautiously. I would love to grow a garden so we could have fresh foods on hand. My dad had a garden closer to a farm when I was little and it was so cool. All summer we would swim and when we got hungry we'd grab a peach or a plum off the tree or head to the garden to eat carrots or onions. It was awesome. Things have changed. It seems we're so busy running all the time no one has time to spend on a large garden.

Anyway, that is my spill for the day. I wonder what I will run tomorrow and Friday.
