So I ended up taking Saturday and Sunday off from running. I probably needed it. I didn't have any Slim Fast left, so I was VERY careful to only eat about 400 calries mid day and then have a healthy supper (or atleast low calorie). Last night we ate at the children's fave place. I was a little worried, but I decided to step on the scale....I was surprised. I was 128 mid day after 2 slim fasts....YAY!!!! I lost 3 pds in a wk. Now I need to get on the tredmill and keep it up. Maybe at this rate I will be 115 by my birthday. That's 10 weeks away. The key is setting asied that hour a week to get on the tredmill. If I walk the whole time that still gives me 4 miles. If I run it it's 5-6 miles.
Before I got preggo the first time I had gained 20 pds (over a period of 2 yr I guess). I met my husband at 110 pds. I started eating chocolate donuts and chocolate milk with him for breakfast...I had never liked chocolate before that....aww new love. So, I ended up around 120 pds...not bad. Then I took a new job and was taking graduate classes. I was in my car and working ALL the time and I ganed to about 128 or 129. We got married when i weighed that much and he went ON and ON about how I should be a model on our honeymoon (again new love)....so anyway that summer I slept and ate and sletp and ate and by the fall I was like 138...I freaked out! So, I got serious. I drank slimfast, walked 4 miles a day, I was sad about being so big, but I was determined to do what it took to lose the weight. I did it. I amde it pretty skinny. I'm not sure how skinny. I quit weighing around 120. Then I got preggo....I gained the standard 35 pds and gave birth to an 8 lb 6 oz boy. By 6 weeks I was 120 again. I lost to 117 and couldn;t lose anymore...my husband told me I wasn't eating enough to lose, so I started to eat a little...turned out I was preggo AGAIN....I gained the standard 35 lbs and then gave birth to a 9 lb 7 oz baby girl. I joined Baby Bootcamp and held steady at about 123-125 for a few mths. Then all the sudden I dropped a TON of weight and I was 116. Then I lost more and I even touhed 109 at one pt (with a tomach virus). I remember thinking to myself as I was throwing up, "I can not lose any more weight..I have to stop throwing up. No worries, once I was well I gained it back and I was 112. AWWW I can't wait to be there again!!!!! It is within my grasp!!!!! I better get on that tredmill or it won't be!!!!
The best part right now is that my husband is still 40 pds over me. He had gained, too. He's 168 now :-p. I have NEVER caught him...he's always been 40 pds heavier, except when I was preggo. I got close then, but never caught him thank goodness!
